Mother's Day and Week 6 en Los Reyes

Helllooo Family!

It was so wonderful to get to talk to you guys this week. The time went by super fast, but then again, it always does. Today I hit 11 months on the mission and I can't really believe how that could have happened.

This week was kind of an adventure, we decided to explore part of our area we had never gone to and we got to travel to Puerto Plata. The interesting part of Los Reyes is that part of it includes Santiago, the main city in this part of the DR, and then the suburbs and jungly area just outside of Santiago, so we see a little bit of everything. We went to so visit a member last week who lives in a part of our arae that is called Los Cocos (or the Coconuts) and we had never been there before. We had to cross a trail of tires through a swampy area to get to the member's mother's house and I almost fell in a couple of times. Needless to say (but I'm going to say it anyway) was kind of an exciting adventure.

Three of our investigators came to church this week, E and his dad, and the brother of a member here, named R. E will hopefully be baptized at the end of this month with Y. I guess we'll just keep praying and working and see what happens.

I'm happy to hear that Anna is home, that Esme ends her freshman year soon, that Sam and Kiana are moved in and doing well (Elliot is very very cute), Shih PIng and Eli are doing well, that Chloe is still the same sassy self, and that Mom had a good Mother's Day. I love you all and can't wait to hear from you soon!
